Why does my slice look different?

All of our cakes, fillings, frostings, and toppings are made and assembled by us and each slice of cake is sliced to order! We take great pride in slicing that cake for you, but it may not always be perfect. Though we have practices and standards in place to help keep our products as consistent as possible, we are human and not machines. If you ever do have an issue with your order, please let us know so we can make it right. 

Why did you raise your prices?

We tried very hard for a long time not to do this, but with the rising cost of ingredients and supply chain/delivery issues, we had too. The cost of butter has tripled and the price of sugar has doubled just to name a couple things. We do not want to sacrifice quality or portion size. We still offer our punch cards though! Every 10 slices, get your 11th free.

Why did you close early?

If we sell out, we will close early in order to make you fresh cakes for the next day. Please plan accordingly and follow us on Instagram or Facebook - we will always post on our social media story if we sell out!

How do I order cake slices?

Stop by the shop and order. Pre order for slices is not available at this time and we do not reserve slices.

How about a whole cake?

*Whole cake orders are currently closed while we get the new shop up and running*

If you'd like to order a cake please check out our Whole Cakes pages and then fill out the contact form on our website. We only accept whole cake orders via email to ensure all order details are correct. We require a 50% or $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The deposit will go towards the total of the cake. We can only accept deposits at the shop (sorry no over the phone deposits). Your order is not confirmed until your deposit has been made.

What kind of coffee do you serve?

We are proud to offer Caffe D'arte Espresso and we use 1883 for all of our syrups and sauces.

Do you have nut/coconut/peanut free cakes?

We are not a certified allergen free kitchen. We do offer cakes without nuts, coconut, and/or peanuts, but we cannot guarantee they haven't come in contact with nuts, coconut, and/or peanuts or ingredients processed in facilities that also process nuts and/or peanuts.

Do you have gluten free cakes?

We are not a certified allergen free kitchen. We do NOT offer cakes without gluten at this time. We do offer gluten intolerance friendly items made by Girl Loves Cake Desserts.

What about vegan offerings? 

We do offer vegan cakes and other treats on the slice bar from time to time, however as with our other allergen friendly items, we cannot guarantee our products have not come in contact with animal products as they are constantly used in the kitchen. Check our daily slice menu to be sure.

Does your carrot cake contain nuts or raisins?

Nope! 

Why can't I have cinnamon rolls everyday?

All good things in moderation ;-) Cinnamon rolls are served on Saturdays & Sundays only and are limited to 4 per order. 

Can I preorder cinnamon rolls?

We don’t take preorders for cinnamon rolls. They are available on a first come, first served basis. 

Do you make wedding cakes?

We are no longer accepting wedding cake or tiered cake orders.

Do you offer cake tastings?

We do not offer tastings, but you are encouraged to stop by the shop to purchase slices to try :-)

Do you make themed, novelty cakes, or kids cakes?

We do not make themed, novelty cakes, or kids cakes. 

Do you deliver?

We do not deliver slices or whole cake/custom cake orders.
